Day 1: Drive to Kibale National Park
Early in the morning, drive to Kibale and you will arrive at your lodge in early afternoon. You will have your lunch in Fort portal town and proceed to the park and check in at your lodge.
After lunch, take a visit to Bigodi swamp sanctuary for a nature walk which may gift you with a chance to see a variety of tree species found within the wet tropical forests. And also different primates such as, blue monkeys, baboons and a variety of birds.
Day 2: Kibale National Park – Drive to Kampala
After an early morning breakfast and assemble at your briefing point. You will set off to the forest for the experience of chimpanzees, where you will have also a chance to see the diversity of different animals and plants species within the forest. The search for chimpanzees and other primates including; The black and white Colobus monkeys, Red-tailed and grey cheeked Manga bays swinging through the dense forest and variety of bird species, butterflies and lots of insects in close quarters. After the chimp experience you will return to your lodge for lunch then start your journey back to Kampala/Entebbe Airport.
