Day 1: Morning pick-up and drive to Gulu via Ziwa Rhinos Sanctuary

Your 5-Day Best of Kidepo Valley National Park and Rhino Safari to the true African wilderness will kick off early morning from either Entebbe or Kampala. You will meet your guide who will brief you about the trip and then start off the road trip to Ziwa Rhino’s sanctuary. You will proceed to Gulu town crossing the Great River Nile and have your evening relaxation. Here you will have an overnight at Bomah Hotel Gulu.

Day 2: Morning drive to Kidepo Valley National Park and have a game drive

Enjoy your breakfast and then drive to the rugged semi-arid but beautiful valleys of Kidepo Valley National Park. The exclusive savannah plains are a habitat for over 77 mammal species which include the famous African Big five as well as around 475 bird species. You will arrive in time for lunch at your lodge and afterward head for your first evening game drive. You will return to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Morning game drive and walk at the Hot springs

On day 3 of your 5-Day Best of Kidepo Valley National Park and Rhino Safari, you will set out early for a game drive and catch a clip of the wildlife you missed in the evening. You will look out for elephant, warthog, duiker, Jackson’s Hartebeest, lion, leopard, zebra, giraffe, huge herds of buffalo, cheetah, and hundreds of bird species. You will also be able to see some of their traditional tools, crafts, and jewelry. You will also be invited for a vigorous leaping dance with these local people. Day 5: Transfer back to Entebbe or Kampala

You will have an early breakfast as you wind up your 5-Day Best of Kidepo Valley National Park and Rhino Safari and prepare for a long road journey to Entebbe or Kampala depending on your flight schedule.
