DAY 1: ARRIVAL

9 Days Uganda Primate Tracking and Wildlife Safari

On arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you will be welcomed by our guide who will meet and greet you and then drive you to your hotel in Entebbe from the airport for Dinner and overnight stay.

DAY 2: TRANSFER TO MURCHISON FALLS NATIONAL PARK

Following an early morning breakfast, our driver guide will pick you up from your hotel and drive heading to northwestern Uganda through the prominent Luwero triangle via Masindi town, making a break to visit the thrilling Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for an incredible unavoidable Rhino trekking with a picnic lunch. Embark on your journey to Murchison falls national park. On arrival, proceed to the top of the stunning falls to see the impressive flow of the Great Nile. You will marvel at the great Nile force its way through a small gorge just 7 meters’ great average width and thunderously fall vertically over 42 meters below emitting a water spray that creates a dramatic eyecatching rainbow all at this natural wonder, the Murchison falls. Enjoy the true comfort of Uganda’s Nature in Chobe Safari Lodge (top-notch), Pakuba safari Lodge (Midrange facility) or Red Chili camp site (Budget Facility) for overnight and dinner. DAY 3: GAME DRIVE EXPERIENCE/BOAT CRUISE

Begin your day with an early cup of African tea or coffee before stepping out for a game drive, sightseeing plus bird watching in the open savanna scattered with riverine vegetation, woodland and the crossing river Nile. Your guide will help you spot elephants, water bucks, buffaloes, leopards, giraffes, lions and a variety of birds. Return for late breakfast at the lodge and later lunch. In the afternoon, head for a 3 hours boat cruise on the Nile up to the bottom of the falls as you carefully watch large schools of hippopotami, buffaloes, antelopes and crocodiles alongside several species of water birds on the river banks like Goliath heron, Egyptian goose, pelican bee-eater, kingfisher, hornbill, cormorant and the rare shoebill stork. Overnight and dinner at Chobe Safari Lodge (Lodge facility) or Pakuba safari Lodge (Mid Lodge facility) or Red Chili camp site (Budget Facility), Meal Plan Full board.

DAY 4: TRANSFER TO KIBALE NATIONAL PARK

Following breakfast, you will hit on the road in search for Kibale Forest National Park. This 8 hours’ drive journey will marvel through the impressive western Rift Valley, the stunning escarpments, banana plantations, and African home steeds. You will later arrive in the beautiful Fort Portal town overlooking dramatic Crater Lakes and the fabled “Mountains of the Moon.” Dine and slumber at Primate Lodge (Luxury), Isunga lodge (Midrange), or Rwetera lodge (budget)

DAY 5: CHIMP TREKKING – TRANSFER TO BWINDI IMPENETRABLE PARK

After an early breakfast, have a short drive Kibale Forest National Park headquarters for a briefing, head for a trek in search for chimpanzees, red-tailed monkeys, the white & black colobus monkeys. The forest is popularly known for having the largest diversity as well as numbers of primates in East Africa. You are also at advantage of seeing many birds and an array of butterflies. After lunch, you will tour the Crater Lakes Region. From there you will continue to Bwindi impenetrable national park. This is the lushest highland rain forest on earth, filled with primates and exotic birds, valleys, hilltops and papyrus swamps. DAY 6: ULTIMATE GORILLA TREKKING/BATWA COMMUNITY

The highlight of your safari is a meeting with the gentle giants of Bwindi! All visitors most especially hikers love this challenging rugged steep slopes of gorilla trekking in the beautiful ecosystem of the park. It is difficult to foresee how many hours you will hike. Expect to walk a long distance in steep and muddy conditions, sometimes with rain overhead, before you encounter any gorillas. But it will definitely be worthwhile as you observe them closely while they eat, play and rest while taking photographs and videos. A unique and unforgettableexperience! For conservation purposes, time spent with the gorillas is limited to one hour. The rangerguide always briefs you on how to behave with these giant apes then later return to the lodge for lunch.

In the late afternoon leave for the Batwa cultural experience where you get to Learn and enjoy as they guide you through the forest, dance, sing and storytelling of their traditional ways of farming, handling the bow, gather honey, and picking herbal medicine from roots and leaves a local way of treating the local people. Get a chance to share a local meal with them from plants and goat stew this will be another way of learning a life of Batwa people. The experience shows you how they lived grass thatched houses, caves, hunted small animals which were used for food. The trail begins with a nature walk, hike through the forest as you learn from the first keepers of the forest this takes 3 hours your simple presence will give a great honor to the Batwa people. After this amazing and discovery experience, you will be transferred to the lodge for Dinner and overnight stay at the lodge.

DAY 7: TRANSFER TO ENTEBBE/DEPARTURE

After enjoying a hefty breakfast, checking out of the lodge and hitting on the road to be transferred to Entebbe international airport with lunch in Mbarara at Agip motel and proceed with a stopover at Igongo cultural center to experience Ankole culture. Note that your flight must be in the late evening.
