Among the animals to look to during game drives include; Africa’s largest herds of Hile buffalos, zebras, lions, elephants, oribi, Klipspringers, Uganda kobs, greater and lesser kudus, warthogs, bush pigs, topi, Grant’s gazelles, elands, bushbucks, common duiker, roan antelopes, dik-diks, Waterbucks, Jackson’s hartebeests, chandlers and many others.
Murchison Falls National Park offers a unique experience where you explore the wildlife and all the River Nile has to offer. Hike at the top of the most powerful waterfalls and enjoy the boat trip to the bottom of the falls. Wildlife collecting on the riverbanks offers unforgettable experiences like buffaloes and giraffes not forgetting the crocodiles basking in the sun.
Day 1: Transfer to Murchison Falls National Park and rhino tracking
On your arrival in Uganda, you will be welcomed and picked by our Gorilla Page Safaris tour guide who will brief you about your trip. You will then embark on your road trip to Murchison Falls National Park. On your way to Murchison Falls National Park, you will branch off to Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for Rhino tracking; this is one of the breathtaking activities in Uganda, the pearl of Africa.
After the experience, you will be driven to Murchison Falls National Park, your first tourist attraction in the park will be the Top of the falls. It is an exciting experience that brings you to the rushing whitewater as it squeezes itself through the narrow crevice below at a close range.
Then you will have a short game drive in the evening as you go to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Morning Game Drive afternoon boat Cruise and evening game drive
After breakfast, you will set off very early for a morning game drive and you can expect to see Lions, Leopards, buffaloes, waterbucks, Rothschild’s giraffe, oribi, baboons, hippo, crocodiles, antelopes and various bird species. Other activities in this game drive include bird watching, sightseeing across the open savannah, dotted woodland, and riverine vegetation along the Nile and Albert delta. After the game drive, you will head back to your hotel for lunch as you prepare for the later activity.
In the afternoon, you embark on a three-hour boat cruise on the Nile up to the bottom of the falls. This boat cruise offers an amazing view of the falls from the bottom angle Hippos, crocodiles, antelopes, and aquatic birds can be seen along the shores of the River Nile.
After the boat cruise, you will go for an evening game drive as you reach your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Morning Transfer to Kidepo Valley National Park
Enjoy your early breakfast and get ready to be driven to Kidepo Valley National Park. You will be treated to some spectacular scenery along the drive.
Kidepo Valley National Park is home to a wide variety of wildlife, including possibly Africa’s largest herds of Hile Buffalo, Burchell’s Zebra, lions, Elephants Oribi, Klipspringer, Uganda Kob, greater and lesser Kudu, Warthog, Bush Pig, Topi, Grant’s Gazelle, Eland, Bushbuck, Common Duiker, Roan Antelope, Beisa Oryx, Waterbuck, Jackson’s Hartebeest, Chandlers and many others. On arrival, you will check in at your lodge and rest.

Day 4: Morning Game Drive and cultural tour with Community Walk
Enjoy your breakfast and embark on an early morning game drive through the park to encounter Zebras, Giraffes, and many more that roam the short grassland plains of the Narus valley. The Scenic view is splendid with Mt. Lotukei in the far background in the Sudan and return to your lodge for lunch.
You will then go for a community tour in the afternoon, in the community walk, you will have the opportunity to interact with the local people – the Karamojong. Visit their local huts (Manyatas) as you learn about their way of life. After the cultural interaction, you will return to the park for an evening game drive to search for Kidepo’s exclusive wildlife such as lions, leopards, cheetahs, hartebeests, Roan antelopes, and many woodland birds in the true wilderness. Then return o your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 5: Relaxation at the lodge in the park and sightseeing
On this day 5 of 7 Days Murchison Falls and Kidepo African big5 Safari, start your day with a delightful breakfast at the time you wish to wake up. As you use the day to relax in the park you can do any optional activity. You can move around the park and do some sightseeing and bird watching since Kidepo Valley National Park is one rich destination for birding with over 400 bird species, some are endemic to only Kidepo Valley. You will have your lunch and dinner at your lodge.

Day 6: Morning game drive and transfer To Kampala
Wake up for your last breakfast in the park and check out from your lodge. Embar on a travel through the remotest zones of Uganda, seeing the villages and grass-thatched houses passing by the window. View the wild, domestic, and cultural richness of this pearl of Africa and experience quality vegetation as you drive back to Kampala. You will have your lunch on the way and on your arrival, you will check in at your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 7: Airport transfer for your flight
As you reach the end of your 7 Days Murchison Falls and Kidepo African big5 Safari with Gorilla Page Safaris, you will begin your day with breakfast and then check out of your lodge. You will be driven to the Entebbe Airport for your scheduled flight as you mark the end of your trip.
