Below are our booking guidelines as well as our payment, cancellation and refund terms and conditions. Kindly read them as we love to have a smooth communication wit our clients throughout the entire trip from planning to executions.

BOOKING AND PAYMENT POLICY:

A50% deposit of the total amount is required to be made to confirm the booking. Confirmation of the booking is supposed to made 60 days before commencement of tour. Gorilla Page Safaris reserves the right to denounce any bookings made less than 60 days to the day of commencement of the trip.

Full payment is expected before 20 days of start date of the tour during low season and 30 days during high season. If the full payment is not made in due time, Gorilla Page Safaris may consider the booking as cancelled.

CANCELLATIONS BY US:

We always endeavor to avoid cancellations. However, in cases of unavoidable circumstance,we shall cancel your confirmed holiday with a written notificationin 30 days before departure. Once we cancel your Safari, we shall give you the opportunity of purchasing an alternative safari from us of a similar standard to that originally booked if available. If you opt for an alternative safari that is less expensive than your original package, you are eligible to a refund of the difference (balance) but if it is slightly expensive, then you will be requiredto top up the difference (balance). Except where we cancel for reasons other than those mentioned in this clause, we shall have no further liability to you. We regret we cannot pay any expenses, costs or losses incurred as a result of any cancellation.

We reserve the right without prior notice, to terminate the safari if in our opinion or in the opinion of any other person in authority/security, the person is who booked a safari with Us is likely to cause danger or security damage to the country. No refunds will be made and we shall not pay any expenses or costs incurred as a result of the termination.

CANCELLATIONS BY YOU

Should you be forced to cancel, you must advise us in writing citing the reasons for your cancellation. In order to cover our estimated loss caused by the cancellation as we may be unable to resell your tour to any other clients, cancellation fees, will be exerted as below:

A full refund of the deposit will be made if the tour is cancelled 60 days prior the date of departure. 50% of the deposit will be refunded if a tour is cancelled between 60-30 days before the departure date. If a tour is cancelled less than 30 days before the departure date, there will be no refund.

PRIMATE PERMITS (GORILLAS, CHIMPANZEES AND GOLDEN MONKEYS)

We can only secure the primate trekking permits the relevant National Park after receiving the payment from the clients. Securing a gorilla permit is not a guarantee of seeing the gorillas. We are unable to accept liability for any circumstance that might lead to gorilla viewing being cancelled. Refunds of gorillas and other primates trekking permits are only done by the relevant authorities. We are therefore not liable for their refund. We shall use our best efforts to get a refund from the relevant authority and pass it on to the client as soon as we receive it.

JURISDICTION

Gorilla Page Safaris is based in the Republic of Uganda and it operates under the laws of Uganda.

ACCIDENT OR LOSS OF PROPERTY

We have no liability for loss, damage, delay, inconvenience, or direct or consequential loss, however caused, unless due to our representative negligence.
