Day 1: Arrival and drive to Kibale National Park

Early in the morning, on your first day of the 2-Day Chimpanzee Tracking Tour in Uganda, drive to Kibale, and you will arrive at your lodge in early afternoon. You will have lunch in Fort Portal town and then proceed to the park to check in at your lodge.

After lunch, take a visit to Bigodi Swamp Sanctuary for a nature walk, which may offer a chance to see a variety of tree species found within the wet tropical forests. Additionally, there are different primates, such as blue monkeys and baboons, as well as a variety of birds.

Day 2: Kibale National Park – Drive to Kampala
