Upon your arrival at Kigali International Airport, you will be welcomed by our professional tour guide who will take you for a city excursion in and around Kigali. This is to enable you to orient yourself with this great country of a thousand hills. After this excursion, you will proceed to Volcanoes National Park located in the North of Ruhengeri via undulating and beautiful terraced hills, which show a clear picture of the general landscape and altitude of Rwanda.

Have an early morning tasty breakfast at the lodge, during an exclusive gorilla trekking experience in Volcanoes National Park, tourists start the activity with a briefing at the park headquarters at Kinigi before proceeding to search for the mountain gorillas in their natural habitat.

Tourists move with ranger guides who accompany them during the search of the mountain gorillas following different trails in the forests of Volcanoes national park. Due to the high altitude where the mountain gorillas live, the activity maybe a little strenuous and tourists can move with walking sticks.

After finding the gorillas, tourists get to spend 1 hour in their presence and watch their behavior closely and also enjoy taking photos of the gorillas and recording videos. It is important to keep a safe distance of about 7 meters from the gorillas during the gorilla trekking experience. Have lunch at the lodge and later relax at the lodge to chill from the tiresome and exciting activity of the day.

Trekking Safari, you will bid farewell to the lodge and drive back to Kigali City. If you did not visit the genocide memorial center, you will have an opportunity to do so before transferring to the airport for your departure flight.
