Day 1: Arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport to Arusha**
Welcome to Tanzania! Upon arrival, you will meet your guide for the drive to Kibo Palace Hotel. Nestled in Arusha, Kibo Palace Hotel is ideally located between some of the most enchanting safari destinations and Mount Kilimanjaro. The hotel offers modern amenities and comforts in a wild setting, ensuring you feel pampered throughout your stay. After settling into your room, take a leisurely walk around Arusha to experience local life or relax by the pool while enjoying a cold Kilimanjaro beer.

Day 2: Arusha to Tarangire National Park
After breakfast at Kibo Palace Hotel, get ready for an exhilarating day. You will depart with a picnic lunch packed for your journey. As you drive, enjoy the breathtaking Rift Valley landscape. Your guide will take you to Tarangire National Park, the least visited reserve on this itinerary but one that promises fantastic game viewing. Home to Tanzania’s largest elephant population, Tarangire supports abundant wildlife, including buffalo, giraffe, zebra, and antelope species—most visibly concentrated along the life-giving Tarangire River during the dry season (June to October). Your accommodation tonight will be at Tarangire Safari Lodge, located among giant baobab trees. Enjoy dinner and overnight at your lodge after a full day of exploring the park.

Day 3: Full Day in Tarangire National Park
This day will be dedicated entirely to game viewing in Tarangire National Park. Explore the park’s diverse habitats and landscapes, including the Silalei Swamp, where predators follow prey during the dry season. From June to November, the park is alive with the seasonal migration of wildebeest and zebras, showcasing one of the largest wildlife concentrations outside of Serengeti National Park. Expect sightings of lions, cheetahs, leopards, giraffes, buffaloes, and, if you’re lucky, the rare wild dog. In the late afternoon, enjoy a bush sundowner with drinks prepared by your guide.

Day 4: Tarangire National Park to Gibbs Farm
Before leaving Tarangire, you will have a final opportunity to spot animals you may have missed. Then, head towards the multicultural town of Mto Wa Mbu. You will go to the lush crater highlands as you leave the African Rift Valley behind. Soon, you will reach higher ground, where you can enjoy stunning views of the Maasai Plains and Lake Manyara. Photo stops will be made to capture the breathtaking scenery. You will continue to Karatu and stop at Gibbs Farm for lunch, followed by a farm walk to the coffee processing area. Afterward, you’ll head to Plantation Lodge.

Day 5: Full-Day Ngorongoro Crater Tour
Begin your day early by leaving the Plantation Farm Lodge. Enjoy a packed picnic lunch as you descend 610 meters to the Ngorongoro Crater floor’s grasslands, which span approximately 265 square kilometers. Despite its size, the Crater is home to various wildlife, making it a prime location for rewarding game viewing. You will spend the day exploring the crater floor and stopping for a picnic among the hippos. Formed by a massive volcanic eruption, this caldera is the largest intact and unflooded one in the world, providing a year-round habitat for around 25,000 large mammals, including black rhinos, wildebeests, and zebras, as well as hyenas. The Crater’s forests shelter elephants and buffalo; its wetlands are home to hippos and flamingos, while lions, jackals, leopards, and caracals represent its top predators. After an extensive day of game viewing, you will leave the Crater and head to your accommodation.

Day 6: Fly from Manyara Airstrip to Serengeti National Pa
Enjoy a leisurely morning with more time for rest—breakfast followed by an early lunch around 11:30 AM at the Plantation Lodge. After checking out, you will drive to Manyara Airstrip for your departure flight to Seronera. Upon arrival, you will meet your guide and embark on an afternoon game drive to the Serengeti Wilderness Tented Camp in Central Serengeti.

Day 7: Full-Day Serengeti National Park
After breakfast, you will go on a game drive in the central part of Serengeti, where you can search for lions, leopards, and cheetahs. Around noon, you will drive to the hippo pool for lunch, allowing you to witness hundreds of hippos while enjoying your meal. Continuing north through Lobo, you will have remarkable sightings of giraffes, elephants, buffalos, impalas, and stunning landscapes. You will then arrive at your Serengeti Wilderness Tented Camp for dinner and overnight accommodation.

You may also spot hippos, lions, cheetahs, leopards, elephants, giraffes, warthogs, and, if you’re lucky, the endangered black rhino. After your afternoon game drive, return to Kenzan Tented Camp for dinner and overnight.

The river crossings of thousands of animals are one of Africa’s most breathtaking natural spectacles. Return to Kenzan Tented Camp in the afternoon for dinner and overnight.
