After breakfast, you will be transferred to Murchison Falls National Park, which has a scenic drive en route to the park, including a lunch stop. A visit to Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for rhino tracking is enriching. Dinner and overnight stay at Kabalega Wilderness Lodge (luxury), Pakuba Safari Lodge (deluxe), or Red Chilli Camp (budget).

Day 3: Game Drive and Afternoon Boat Cruise
Wake up for an early morning game drive, anticipating sightings of animals such as buffalo, elephants, lions, and several antelope species. Later, return to your lodge for breakfast and lunch. In the afternoon, enjoy a boat cruise up to the base of the falls, which brings you closer to hippos, crocodiles, and a wide array of migratory birds along the banks of the Albert Nile. Return to the lodge in the evening for an overnight stay.

Day 4: Transfer to Kibale Forest National Park
In the morning, transfer to Kibale Forest National Park with a leisurely drive through the lush countryside, enjoying views of crop plantations and the Rift Valley escarpment. Overnight at Chimpanzee Guest House (budget), Turacco Tree Tops (deluxe), Crater Safari Lodge, or Papaya Lake Lodge (luxury).

Day 5: Chimpanzee Trekking and Nature Walk
Proceed to Kanyanchu for a briefing from the park warden as you prepare for chimpanzee tracking. Please note that this activity involves a moderate level of physical fitness as you will be walking through the tropical rainforest. Other primates in this tropical rainforest include the grey-cheeked mangabeys, L’Hoest, red-tailed, and vervet monkeys. In the afternoon, a nature walk in the Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary, primarily for birdwatching, is worthwhile, especially seeing the beautiful blue turaco.

Day 6: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park
On this day, you will transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park. Upon arrival, a boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel highlights the park. This cruise provides an excellent opportunity to see various wildlife, including migratory birds, Albertine endemic species, and mammals such as hippos, elephants, buffaloes, and various antelope species. Dinner and overnight stay will be at Katara Lodge (luxury), Park View Lodge, or Enganzi Lodge (deluxe).

Day 7: Game Drive and Boat Cruise
Today begins with a morning game drive in the northern sector (Kasenyi), where you may encounter big cats like leopards and lions. This area is also known for its large herds of elephants, buffaloes, and antelope species. Afterward, return to the lodge for breakfast. In the afternoon, you can choose between a boat cruise, chimpanzee trekking in Karinju Forest, or exploring Kyambura Gorge.

Day 8: Game Drive and Transfer to Bwindi National Park

After a relaxed breakfast, set off for game drives in the Ishasha sector in search of tree-climbing lions. Depending on the day’s weather, you may be fortunate enough to spot lions near the road or venture deep into the park to find them. Continue through the beautiful rolling hills of Kigezi to Bwindi National Park. Overnight accommodation will be at Mahogany Springs (luxury) or Bwindi Lodge (deluxe).

Day 9: Gorilla Trekking Adventure
After breakfast, head to the park headquarters with a packed lunch for a briefing on the ‘dos and don’ts’ of gorilla trekking. This will include guidelines on maintaining a safe distance from the gorillas, not making direct eye contact, and not eating or drinking in their presence. Then, proceed to track the gorillas. After your trek, you will be driven back to your lodge.

Day 10: Transfer to Volcanoes National Park in Rwanda
Transfer across the Chanika border to Volcanoes National Park. You will spend the night at Muhabura Hotel, a comfortable budget option with basic amenities; Davinci Lodge, a mid-range option with more facilities; Mountain Gorilla View Lodge, a luxurious lodge with stunning views; or Tiloreza Volcanoes Eco Lodge, a high-end eco-friendly lodge with a focus on sustainability and comfort.
