Jinja is an ancient city and was established in 1907. It is located in the East, about 70 km from Kampala, on the shores of Lake Victoria; it’s where you will also find the source of the Nile River.
Jinja is a very interesting and adventurous district with lots of attractions and activities to do, including Rafting on the River Nile, boat rides, tubing the Nile, nature walks, sightings, and Reptile viewing, among others.
Day 1: Pick up from hotel or Airport and Transfer to Jinja city
On this day, enjoy your morning breakfast. Afterward, drive to the East with your guide to Jinja district. Along the way, you will see many sights. Have a stopover around Ssezibwa Falls for a guided nature walk and sightseeing. Thereafter, head to Mabira Forest, where you will engage in a nature walk through the forest. Here, you will see a number of monkeys, different types of tree species, and birds, among others.
Later, proceed to Jinja, passing through different sugar and tea plantations. On reaching Jinja, visit the Bujagali falls, and later take a boat to the source of the River Nile. In the evening, check in at the hotel, have dinner, and the night at your lodge

DAY 2: White-Water Rafting along River Nile
After your breakfast, head for water rafting on the Nile. This amazing and adventurous time rafting happens on the falls. You will choose between rafting levels depending on your interests. You can do up to level 5 of rapids. Later, have your lunch in Jinja city and drive back to Kampala, arriving in the evening.
