Day 1: Arrival in Kigali and Transfer to Volcanoes National Park (Rwanda)
Upon arrival at Kigali International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by our representative from Gorilla Page Safaris. After a short briefing, enjoy a scenic drive northwards through Rwanda’s lush countryside to Volcanoes National Park, home of the endangered mountain gorillas and golden monkeys. En route, you may visit the Kigali Genocide Memorial or local craft markets (optional, time permitting).
Arrive at your lodge in the Virunga region, nestled at the foot of the misty mountains, just in time to relax and prepare for the adventures ahead.

Day 2: Golden Monkey Tracking & Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest (Uganda)
After an early breakfast, head to the park headquarters for a briefing before embarking on a thrilling Golden Monkey tracking experience. These playful and curious primates are a joy to watch as they leap among bamboo trees.
Following the trek, return to the lodge for lunch, then cross into Uganda via the Cyanika border. The drive continues to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park (Rushaga sector), a UNESCO World Heritage Site known for its rich biodiversity and home to nearly half of the world’s remaining mountain gorillas.

Day 3: Gorilla Trekking & Batwa Community Encounter
Today is the highlight of your 4-Day Uganda & Rwanda Safari Adventure: Gorillas Golden Monkeys & Culture. After an early breakfast, head to the park briefing point for an unforgettable Gorilla trekking experience. Led by expert trackers and guides, hike through thick forest to find a habituated gorilla family. Spend a magical hour observing their behavior and capturing memories.
In the afternoon, enjoy a cultural visit to the Batwa community, the original forest dwellers of Bwindi. Learn about their traditions, music, hunting techniques, and way of life, gaining deeper insight into the forest’s cultural heritage.

Day 4: Return to Kigali via Cyanika Border & Departure
After a relaxed breakfast, begin your journey back to Rwanda, retracing your scenic route through rolling hills and terraced landscapes. Cross the Cyanika border and proceed to Kigali to end your 4-Day Uganda & Rwanda Safari Adventure: Gorillas Golden Monkeys & Culture. Depending on your flight schedule, you may enjoy a city tour, last-minute shopping, or a meal in Kigali before being dropped at the airport for your onward flight.
