Day to Day
You will depart your Serengeti Luxury Fly-in Safari Tanzania from Arusha Airport mid-morning for your flight to Serengeti Seronera. You are expected to arrive at the Seronera airstrip around 11:00 AM. Upon arrival, our safari guide will welcome you and provide a picnic lunch in preparation for your safari.
You will begin your game drive, stopping for lunch around 1:00 PM. The day will continue as you search for the big cats of the Serengeti and other wildlife. In the evening, you will return to your camp in time for dinner and an overnight stay.
After breakfast at the camp, you will set off for a full day of game drives in the Serengeti. The Serengeti National Park, derived from the Masai word “Serengeti,” meaning “endless open plains,” features mesmerizing landscapes. While a significant part of the park consists of seasonally flooded plains, forests, and shrub savannas, it is primarily known for its grassy plains. These plains, golden during the dry season and green with wildflowers after the rains, are ideally suited for continuous grazing, making the Serengeti a paradise for large herbivores.
Surrounded by millions of wildebeest, zebras, and gazelles, you’ll witness their annual migration as they stampede over vast plains, cross crocodile-infested rivers, and are hunted by lurking predators. The Serengeti is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, a biosphere reserve, and one of the new seven wonders of Africa. You will enjoy picnic lunches on the plains as you continue your game drive until evening, returning to the camp just as the sun sets over the horizon. Spend the night close to a crackling bushfire as you reflect on the day’s adventures.
